My planned schedule for the rest of the semester

-red is already completed, black is still to go!

Spring Break: 3/20-3/29

            -Composed project proposal and artist statement

            - Save movie onto computer as a an .mov file

            -Begin storyboard/map

 

Week 1 (12): 3/30-4/5

            Monday

                        -Export movie into MPEG Stream clip

                        -Edit all clips; export all clips as QuickTime’s

                        -Appropriately label and organize all clips in hard drive

                        -Save Work!!!

            Wednesday

                        -Digital Promotion Due in class.

                        -Create a new multimedia project in Motion

                        -Import clips into Motion

                        -Piece together animation (edit, clip, all adjustments needed)

                        -Don’t Forget to Save!!!

 

Week 2 (13): 4/6-4/12

            Monday

                        -MFA Critique Due in class.

                        -Last Day for animation in Motion

                        -Save animation draft as QuickTime

                        -Save Your Work!!!

 

                       Wednesday

                        -Present Project Proposal in class. (critique, feedback, suggestions)

-Import animation into Soundtrack Pro

                        -Begin composing Soundtrack

                        -Consider, what will add to the visuals

(speed, beat, tone, genre, scale, etc.)

                        -Import all audio clips needed from original .mov

                        -Save work!!!

Week 3 (14): 4/13-4/19

            Monday

                        -Revised Proposals and Artist Statement Due in class.

-Continue working on Soundtrack

                        -What’s missing? What can be added? What can be taken away?

                        -Get feedback from others (peers, roommates, teachers, parents)

                        -Save again, early and often!!!

            Wednesday

                        -Last Day to work on Soundtrack

                        -What’s missing? What can be added? What can be taken away?

                        -Get feedback from others (peers, roommates, teachers, parents)

                        -Save complete rough animation (video & audio) as QuickTime

                        -Save Work!!!

 

 

Week 4 (15): 4/20-4/26

Monday

                        -Edit rough draft of complete video

                        -What’s still not right? What has to be changed?

Which parts are satisfying? Think about theme and concepts!

-Save, Save, Save!!!

-Export final QuickTime into DVD PRO; ask Casey for help if needed

 

            Tuesday

                        -Visiting Artist Gundrun Gut! GO!!!

 

Wednesday

            -LAST work day in class!

            -Final Version of Project Complete by end of class

            -Finish DVD in DVD PRO

            -Save! Save! Save!

            -Burn a few copies of DVD

 

*Over weekend make a creative (captivating) case for DVD

            -Think about presentation of Project; raising interest in project

 

Week 5 (16): 4/27-4/29

            Monday

                        -Visiting Artist Paper on Gundrun Gut Due in class.

                        -Final Critiques

            Wednesday

                        -Final Critiques Continued.

 

Week 6 (17): Saturday 5/2

            -Final Exam (1:30-4)
